The Agriturismo “Il Querciolo" stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive groves, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers.

Depending on your needs, you can choose from six types of apartments, created in the old 19th century manor house and annexes, all furnished in a rustic style with original furniture owned by our family.

The apartments are equipped with every comfort, each with an independent bedroom and bathroom. At guests' disposal there is a swimming pool in which to relax and enjoy unique panoramas and sunsets. Each family has its own space in the pool, equipped with sunbeds and umbrella.

The Apartments

where the charm of the ancient Tuscan farmhouse comes to life

At “Il Querciolo” there are six types of apartments, created in the old 19th century manor house and in the outbuildings, all furnished in a rustic style with original period furniture and which have belonged to our family for at least three generations.

Annagiulia and Luciano then took care of the combinations and details of each apartment so that everything was in its right place, so that each object told the guest a piece of our history and made them take a dip in a not distant but, today, often forgotten, past.

The apartments today have the ancient names of the largest plots of our farm, Frutteti, Fitto, Pozzale, Le Fonti, Polverina and Carnovalino. At the time of booking, the guest can request whether to find a bottle of our Syrah in the apartment to make his arrival even more special.

In a dedicated room, with independent access between the swimming pool and the vineyard, guests can request a morning breakfast. They can taste typical cakes, jams with seasonal fruit and other products of our production or of other companies which, like us, implement the "km0" philosophy.

Every year we prepare an organic garden available to all guests with seasonal vegetables. Tomatoes and onions cannot be missed, from the month of July to the end of October, with which guests prepare fresh salads full of unique flavours. Then there are, depending on the season, cucumbers, green beans, aubergines, basil, parsley and lots of courgettes. Guests can choose, collect and taste the products they find.

In the old barn, in front of the main house, an area has been created to allow young and old person to relax, equipped with large tables and benches for talking and having dinner with friends. There is also the possibility of using the table tennis or table football. The old barn can be used until late in the evening because it is equipped with lighting.

In the rear part of the main house, facing the swimming pool, there is an area for children with a swing for children up to 2 years of age, a swing for children up to 13 years of age, a jumping jack, a slide and the "caterpillar", a tunnel for passing through. In the games, children can be without shoes because they are all resting on the grass in the garden.

Upon arrival at “Il Querciolo”, guests find a parking space for cars. Access to the parking is protected by an automatic barrier, which can be controlled by each guest with a badge provided for the entire period of stay. The parking is for guests of “Il Querciolo” and the family only. It has five covered places and five uncovered places among the olive trees.

Each apartment has its own private space in the pool, separated from each other by small ropes. Each space is identified by guests by reading the name of their apartment. In each space the guest finds an umbrella, one and two sunbeds, one or two chairs and a low support table. Upon request it is possible to have pool towels in the farmhouse. They can also be requested by email to find them at the arrival directly in the apartment.

A large wood-burning oven and a large grill have been created on the old concrete silos to allow guests to have barbecues outdoors. The silos are covered and equipped with light which allows guests to cook until late.

Next to the reception, a terrace has been created with tables for two and four chairs. The terrace is always very breezy, equipped with lighting for the evening and wi-fi coverage. The area is excellent for relaxing with a book or having a chat. There are Two large three-dimensional maps of the Valdichiana and Tuscany available, which can be used to plan visits or walks for guests.
