The Winery

OUR SYRAH PRODUCED WITH HAND-PICKED GRAPES

The winery was born in 2017 in an underground garage of the Agriturismo. We currently produce about 4000 bottles a year with two wines produced only with Syrah grapes. We expect to quickly reach our maximum production which will be around 10,000 bottles. We only use our hand-picked grapes in our 4 hectares of vineyards.

The harvest is done manually in September, using small boxes for transporting the bunches to the cellar. The grapes are processed in our cellar with the aim of maintaining the typical scents and aromas of the variety. Without the addition of external chemical agents, we want our wines to be an expression of the climate and seasons of our land every time. We produce the “Gruccione” Syrah (about 2500 bottles a year) and the “Occhio di Civetta” Syrah (about 6000 bottles), both classified as IGT TOSCANA. Soon we will also have a rosé that we will produce in around 1,500 bottles a year.

Given the great demand and small quantities, we invite you to book our wines before the harvest. To book or buy it, send us a request via email or call the number indicated in the contact details, but even better if you come and visit us at “Il Querciolo”.
