The Winery
OUR SYRAH PRODUCED WITH HAND-PICKED GRAPES
The winery was founded in 2017 in an underground cellar on the Agriturismo. We currently produce around 9,000 bottles per year, with three wines made exclusively from Syrah grapes. We expect to quickly reach our peak production of around 12,000 bottles, including a white wine made from Viognier grapes. We vinify only our own hand-picked grapes from our 4 hectares of vineyards.
The harvest is done manually starting in August for the rosé and continuing into September for the reds, using small crates to transport the bunches to the cellar. The grapes are processed in our cellar with the aim of preserving the typical aromas and flavours of the variety. Without the addition of external chemicals, we want our wines to always reflect the climate and seasons of our land. We produce "Gruccione" Syrah (approximately 2,500 bottles per year) and "Occhio di Civetta" Syrah (approximately 5,000 bottles), both classified as IGT TOSCANA. "Corterosa" is a fantastic rosé, producing approximately 1,500 bottles per year. Due to high demand and limited quantities, we invite wine lovers to reserve our wines before the harvest. Gruccione Syrah

NOTES OF RIPE FRUIT, SPICES AND VANILLA
A ruby-red coloured wine, the nose presents itself with notes of ripe fruit which are well combined with a light spiciness and vanilla notes. In the mouth the wine enters sweet, with delicate and vibrant tannins that accompany the entire tasting. The notes return of ripe fruit and spices to which hints of liquorice are added. The finish is soft and persistent.
Occhio di Civetta Syrah IGT Toscana
SPICY AND LICORICE NOTESA ruby red wine with violet notes, the nose reveals aromas of fresh fruit that combine well with a delicate note of spices mixed with white pepper. In fresh and vibrant on the palate, the notes of fresh fruit and spice return, to which is added a sweet note of liquorice. added to a sweet liquorice note. A good acidity accompanies the entire tasting.
Corterosa Syrah Rosato IGT Toscana
SPICY AND FRESH FRUIT NOTESPink colored wine with bright notes, on the nose there are aromas of fresh fruit which are well linked to a delicate note of spices mixed with pink pepper. It enters the mouth fresh and vibrant. Good acidity accompanies the entire tasting. Suitable for fish or white meat dishes.
